Here are some picture from Befana, too!
Sarah in my room with my teddy bear.
Benni and Sarah
The stockings stuffed with goodies!
The view from the kitchen.
Guido, Benni, Sarah, and Ales.
Sarah and her new touque! Also, PAN GIOCCOLO! They go nuts for these things.
Benni and her new mittens.
Carbone. A giant chunk of black coloured sugar. Too hard to eat, really. It's supposed to be like coal, which is what you get from Befana when you're bad. It tasted like vanilla.
Leo, with his carbone. Best picture of him yet, I think.
These are from the days that it snowed after I got back. About a month ago, I suppose.
The soccer field all mushy and gross.
Tiny little snowman!
My purse. I bought it in Florence. Real Italian Leather. I am pumped about this purse.
And these are from the most recent snow fall, just over the past week.
Benny and I made this snow man, and Bella tried to eat him.
Leo and Benni with the Snowman.
Happy Sarah on the swing!
Sad Sarah on the swing...
Poetic Sarah on the Swing
Swinging Sarah on the swing! Have I mentioned how much she loves swinging? She can sit on here for the whole hour that we are at the park.
Enjoy the pictures! I am working on a post about the concert at Katrin's. It was a really great weekend, and I had the best time. The music was great and the people are so much fun. I even got an Italian Flag as a present from one of the guys there! I was pretty pumped, because I really wanted one. Oh, and I think I forgot to mention that Kira wasn't able to come this weekend. She had school things come up, but we're planning another weekend this month!
Guido was here the last weekend, which was really good, because now that she's seen him, Sarah is much more well behaved. All three of the kids are a bit more calm.
Today, I got my Christmas parcel from Michelle! Ha, I love having Christmas in February. I was pretty pumped, though, because I thought it was gotten stolen or lost.
Also, today it's warm but windy. I think the snow will be gone in a couple days, and by the time I get back from my London Trip in March, I plan to be hitting the beach. I am stoked. But not too stoked. That can lead to health problems.
Other than that, I am getting over a wicked cold which has left me speechless for a couple of days. I've been writing and studying, and planning a dinner with Val and Andy on Saturday. I ran into him on the way to get the girls from school, and he and Val are going to Rome for a conference she has, and then they'll be back for the weekend. (How cool is that, by the way? Oh yea, just going to Rome for a couple days. See you on the weekend?) Also, Caffe di Sole has a band playing tonight, so I might go with Giorgia and Lucia. Pretty much the same thing I've been doing all last month. But they're good and fun things, so I am happy to be doing them all over again. Alessandra had seen a poster for an international theatre group, but when we went back to get the info, it was gone and we haven't seen it since.
Anyways, I am relaxing well, and I hope you guys are, too!
Ciao for now!
